Jake, we can’t even describe how incredible you were. Every single person complimented on how good of a job you did with the whole day.
Jake managed to deliver a heartfelt, personal and entertaining ceremony all while respecting our wishes. He was extremely professional, and worked with us every step of the way to provide us with an experience that we could not fault. Jake also MCed our reception - he kept the night at a perfect tempo and was at ease shifting and pivoting when things didn't go to plan.
To top it off, we received many comments from friends and family asking how long we had known Jake - was he an uncle? An old friend? Much to their surprise, we had not met in person until he was performing the marriage ceremony.
We would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Jake for both his celebrant and MC services. Our choice of vendors made our big day as perfect as it could be, and Jake played a big part in this.

Jake was incredible.
Myself and my now husband had no less than about 10 wedding guests tell me he was the best celebrant they’ve ever seen. Not only did he have everyone enjoying themselves and laughing, but there was also about 5 or 6 occasions where he gave subtle advice that either made an incredible photo, or eased our nerves.

From day one Jake was an absolute breeze to work with, he was so responsive to emails and took all of the stress out of the paperwork side of things. Despite not meeting Jake in person until we were standing at the alter it felt as if we’d known him forever. Jake has the most incredible gift in making people feel so calm and cared for. Everyone who attended the wedding said it was the best ceremony they’d ever witnessed, so much joy, laughter, and love was in the chapel that day. If you have ever heard of people being at the top of their craft, having honed in their skills through years of experience and effort, and they just appear perfect at it? Well, this is Jake. And Perfect is not me being hyperbolic.
Jake was the perfect wedding celebrant. From the moment I sent an enquiry, all the way through, he was warm, professional, and showed genuine care. He made the paperwork easy and simple, and did a lot of the administration work for us. And when you are in the middle of organizing a wedding, this is a life saver.
The ceremony itself was incredible. He was able to bring the exact right mood to the ceremony. It was intimate, while also having my wife and I, and the guests, laughing at various stages. I had numerous guests come up after the ceremony and ask how long he had known us, because he spoke like he had known us for years.
We also had Jake MC our reception, and that couldn't have gone better. The venue staff commented how great he was, and said he was the best MC they've had. He kept everything going according to plan, so we got to relax and enjoy our night.

Jake was incredible. He has lots of amazing reviews and they are all true!! Jake was so helpful throughout the planning process, we never felt we couldn't reach out to him if we needed something. The ceremony prep was fun and great to follow. We had one phone call with Jake prior to our wedding, his calendar was fully booked and he still squeezed us in. Jake went above and beyond for us on the day, he was always there to help me with my dress or pass me a drink for a sip in between the thousand things going on around us! and was always making sure we knew what needed to happen next. Jake made our ceremony so authentic and warm, we wanted cute, lovey but chill and fun and he nailed it. Our guests didn't stop laughing or smiling all day. Our guests have all come up to us since and commented about how amazing Jake was, Jake is truly special and we can't thank him enough for being there with us on our special day! He was also our MC and he was so aware of how to ensure guests had a great time, minimising interruptions and maximising atmosphere, we would absolutely recommend him to everyone. And as a bonus - he filmed parts of the day for us so we got a sneak peak the next day! That meant the world, to be able to wake up the next day and see it play out on camera. Oh… and our guests keep telling us that they loved him and thought he was so incredible and they thought we’d known him for years. Jake, you’re so special and talented at what you do! Jake was absolutely incredible! He was the perfect fit for our ceremony. We wanted our ceremony to feel more relaxed, fun and upbeat and Jake delivered exactly that and more! The ceremony was personalised so perfectly that all our family and friends couldn't stop talking about great he was, everyone wanted to know who he was and how we found him! He was able to engage with our guests so easily and everyone really enjoyed our ceremony. Standing in front of people can be scary but Jake took all those nerves away and made Matt and I feel confident and exited to be standing in front of everyone, reminding us that it really is our day to enjoy! The communication with Jake in the lead up to the wedding was so easy and we were confident with our decision from the start. Well… From the first communication via email, Jake was so helpful and clear, it make all the nerves about paperwork go away. Any questions I had were promptly answered.
On the day of our elopement, he walked in the door and I was instantly relaxed. His energy was amazing, so happy, vibrant, funny, and relaxed all at the same time definitely our vibe. We had a quick chat about how we were thinking it would all go down and when we were ready, got the ball rolling. The ceremony was so perfect. It was personal, funny, sentimental, I couldn’t have imagined it being anymore perfect!

We were “Married by Jake” one week ago today and I still cannot believe it was real! I was so anxious before the ceremony, but Jake has such a calming manner about him that when I got to the end of the aisle all of the nerves were gone. He directed us beautifully and made it so easy.
