Jake was such a joyful, calming presence on our wedding day. He ended up doing all the boys bow ties as not a single one knew how (silly!!) and did everything he could to settle the nerves for both of us. He brought a fun energy to the ceremony and took us and our guests on a journey of our relationship before we got to the vows. This time before getting to the serious bit allowed us to settle into the ceremony before we did our personal vows and commitment to each other which is obviously a little nerve wracking in front of guests! We both felt so comfortable though and Jake did everything right - stepping away when we did our vows, stepping away for our first kiss etc. Off mic, he gave us little words of encouragement here and there which was also a nice touch. He dressed for the occasion and checked in with us on what to wear to make sure the photos looked great and colour balanced. Additionally, it was really important for us to have a celebrant who could authentically pray for us and Jake did that for us after the ceremony which was very special. Thank you Jake for being such an integral part of the day, for coming all the way to France and all your support and care throughout the process!
