From the moment we had our first enquiry call with Jake, we were both sold on his genuine, friendly, and happy-go-lucky demeanour. He took time to get to know us and delivered a ceremony that was everything we both wanted. Jake made getting married easy, he not only took all the stress out of the ceremony but out of the legal side of things too. Leading up to the day, we were confident that Jake would deliver a ceremony that reflected our relationship and our different beliefs in an easy going and warm manner based on our conversations with him. However, he delivered more than either of us could have imagined. It was the most beautiful, light hearted, funny yet romantic ceremony and we owe it to Jake. The way Jake engaged not only with us but my daughter, our bridal party and guests, was something else. He has this ability to make you feel incredibly calm and happy. Its infectious! If you want a celebrant who is going to make your day magical, look no further! Finding Jake was like finding a pot of gold.

Jake was fantastic. We had so many comments on how amazing our ceremony was. We even had people ask how long Jake had known us, people were shocked when we said 20minutes before we walked down the aisle. We loved working with Jake to put our ideal ceremony together. He gave us heaps of options and ideas that allowed our ceremony to be very personalised to us. Jake really set the tone for our ceremony, he really got the ‘meaningful while still upbeat’ feel we wanted. He provided much need calm to the grooms party when they started to feel the nerves. Jake was also super professional in look but also knows all the photo moments you want and when he should and shouldn't be in them. We feel very privileged that Jake was able to marry us.

Daniel and I are SO grateful that we chose Jake to be our celebrant for our wedding at Maleny Manor in June. The ceremony was the most daunting part of the planning process for us. As two introverts, we were very nervous to have all eyes on us and to put our very low-key, private relationship on display for our family and friends. So much so we considered a registry ceremony before chatting with Jake. Very glad we didn't go down that road!! Our first chat with Jake helped allay all of our fears and gave us confidence that we could tailor the ceremony to our style - low-key, short and sweet! Jake went above and beyond on the day. The words of encouragement pre-ceremony meant the world to us and made us as relaxed as you can be before walking down the aisle. We have no words for just how great the ceremony was. Many of our guests complimented us on our choice of celebrant - amazing, hilarious, warm and engaging were just a few words guests used to describe Jake! Finally, we would also like to commend Jake's patience and kindness during our postponement in 2020. He was amazing to deal with during a chaotic time and having him marry us was well and truly worth the wait for us!

Whilst Jake is in the business of making great weddings happen, his heart is in the business of helping great marriages happen. Despite having to move our wedding with COVID-19, Jake's availability was always a priority to us for alternative dates due the genuine connection we had had with him. Jake was so supportive during the whole process, using his vast experience with people, weddings and postponements to tell what we needed to hear at various points. It wasn't until we watched the videos of our day that we truly appreciated what Jake did for us. Not only was he supportive of us in the lead up to the ceremony, but constantly spoke with us and key family members throughout the day to ensure things went smoothly. Our guests constantly commented on his energy and how refreshing it was at a wedding. His ability to take what he knew of us and work it in to the ceremony and reception made it like we'd known him for years. If you're a couple in love, looking to get married and Jake is free on your chosen date, lock him in. Your relationship will be better for it.

Jake really cares for people and understands what it takes to make a great marriage! His guidance and support through the rollercoaster journey of ‘trying to get married’ in 2020 & ‘finally making it happen’ in 2021 has been second to none. We can’t thank Jake enough for making our special day feel so energetic, yet calm. We wouldn’t want anyone else to be the person to marry us!

Thank you doesn't do it justice, but we are both truly very grateful. Not just for what you did on the day or for the things you helped us with in the lead up (it was a lot and incredibly calming)... but for being a person genuinely interested in the love shared between others and helping ensure that is fostered in to a healthy marriage. May that be something you can hold on to when postponements get you down.

We were blown away by how great you were and how you were able to make it all so fun and flow so smoothly. Sooo many of our guests mentioned how impressed they were with our celebrant/MC and everyone kept asking who you were and where we found you. My brother even asked if you travel interstate for weddings as he is due to get married in the next year or two.

We were very impressed with how you took minor details we mentioned and remembered things to incorporate into your commentary. It all ran so smoothly and your re-assurance, tips and advice on the day made it so much less stressful. We also appreciated your encouragement to play a game at the reception as it made it so enjoyable for everyone. We had so much great feedback! It was so great not to have to worry about finding an MC within our friends or family group so your celebrant and MC package was so convenient!

Jake couldn’t be more helpful throughout the planning phase (including during a pandemic!). His communication was prompt and he made us feel comfortable right from day one. We planned our wedding around when Jake and our venue were available! Jake’s energy is so calming, supportive and fun and it’s like you’ve known him forever. Jake also makes you feel comfortable and informed which calms the nerves. Jake is able to read the room and encourages you to take a breath, soak it all up and be your authentic self. After all, it is your day! If you make a mistake in your vows, start to cry or are stricken with nerves, Jake has a way of making you feel supported, allows you to have a laugh and to forget that heaps of people are watching you and just to enjoy the time with your partner. We met 2 years ago when we first got engaged and we had to delay our wedding, you were so accommodating in moving the date and we are so grateful!
