We were fortunate enough that Jake was available for our wedding and although we had to postpone due to covid, it was the best thing that happened just so he could be apart of our day! We’ve never met such a genuine, warm and compassionate celebrant and we knew that Jake would bring the perfect vibe and setting to our ceremony. Writing vows and planning our ceremony felt extremely daunting, however Jake made this process so easy and gave us the opportunity to fully customise our ceremony so that it was perfect for us to make sure it was exactly how we wanted it to feel. He had the most calming presence on the day and kept our guests entertained yet always present throughout the duration of our ceremony. We’ve received so many compliments on just how amazing he was on the day and how perfect he was to be the one to tell our story. Jake was amazing!! He created an extremely personal ceremony for us. He did all the behind the scene legal work and really kept our nerves steady on the day (700mm rain in 24hours really put us off balance!!!) From the moment the ceremony started the rain disaster of the morning faded away. So many guests said their favourite part of the day was the emotion of the ceremony. He helped us create a beautifully calm and welcoming ceremony and took the time to listen and get to know us. His wedding ‘how to’s’ allowed us to create memorable vows and gave us inspiration to create a ceremony which was unique to us. We made a few enquiries about different celebrants until we found Jake. From the moment he picked up the phone he was professional, caring, and genuinely invested in the way we wanted our ceremony to work. He helped us through an unknown period during COVID, and was very flexible when it came to changing our venue. On the day, he was a calming presence, and kept our guests and ourselves entertained both before, and throughout the ceremony. We cannot recommend Jake enough to make your special day even better than you can think of.
