Jake was fantastic, from the first moment we spoke with him. He walked us through what we could expect from him and what he could do for us. Jake could instantly tell that we were laid-back and easy going and that’s what we wanted (along with lots of laughter) from our ceremony. Jake made everything so easy for us and we were laughing so much that the time flew by. We can't thank Jake enough for making our day so much fun. JAAAAKKKKKKEEEEEEE!! How is it even possible for a human to be as awesome as you? (And yes, I am screaming your name in an energiser bunny enthusiastic excited way - not to be mistaken for angry capitals).

You know in the Wizard of Oz, at the end of the movie when Dorothy finally gets around to the scarecrow and says that she’s going to miss him the most of all? In a way, this is how I feel about you and the important part you played in making our day everything that we dreamed of! For me personally, having a Wedding SHOULD BE about the ceremony, it's about announcing to the world the commitment that two people are making to each other. And for me, that’s why having the perfect celebrant was so important. I really wanted our celebrant to be someone who had that same opinion first and foremost, would make our ceremony fun and lighthearted, but emotional all at once. I seriously don’t know how you do it, but you did all of the above, and more. You absolutely nailed it!

To begin, from the minute we enquired with you we felt so special, we were sold! It was like the KFC ad, ’take my money!’ haha. You made the entire process incredibly simple. Your communication is clear and includes everything we had to do and by when. Thank you for that!

Fast forward to the day…

The wonderful demeanour that you had when you greeted my parents and I in my room prior to the ceremony, brought me so much joy and excitement. And whenever we glanced at you during the ceremony you had the biggest smile on your face and it definitely projected the most incredible energy into the room.

The ceremony that you put together for us was perfect and you delivered it seamlessly. We really loved that you don’t recommend a rehearsal, although a little nervous to begin with, but it was so exciting hearing the ceremony for the first time on the day. We can’t wait to watch the ceremony from the guests perspective when we receive the footage.

In short Jake, you are THE BOMB.

Being Married By Jake is a blessing... Jake may say that he feels blessed marrying you, but it is the couples that he marries that are truly blessed. His ability to share stories that transport people to that point in time is one of a kind, and the energy that he projects through the room is exhilarating. We would pick Jake a thousand times over to officiate our wedding and no words could possibly sum up how thankful we are for the part Jake played in our special day ♡

Jake was amazing from start to finish. From the first email he made us feel at ease and involved in the process and helped us create our perfect wedding. It was clear he was experienced as a celebrant as he helped us with last minute changes due to the weather and hiccups on the day. He made everyone feel relaxed and part of the occasion and even family watching through livestreams on the other side of the world commented on how great he was. We couldn’t recommend Jake highly enough, he was great and gave us an amazing wedding!

We had Jake as our celebrant and MC for our wedding over the weekend at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens and he did not disappoint! His whole demeanour is confident yet comforting, you can rest assured that he has everything under control, to ensure you have more time to relax and enjoy your big day. The moment I stepped out of my bridal car, Jake was there to meet me and make me feel at ease about everything! May I add that Jake not only has an AMAZING, funny and kind personality, but he also has an epic wardrobe - which he made sure he fit in with the theme perfectly. Jake - thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. You made our big day one to remember, and I can honestly say we have had so many guests comment on how awesome you were! Jake is the best of the best! We were so lucky to secure him for the day because he truly made our ceremony so personal and special! He helped us organise the legal side of things by taking us through it, step by step. He let us customise our ceremony so that the words he said wholeheartedly reflected our relationship, values, and views about marriage. He took our stories and retold them in an authentic and special way. He truly nailed the feel of our ceremony and made our guests feel so welcome and excited. We told Jake we wanted our guests to laugh and cry and boy did he deliver! It was the little details, such as having our guests cheer for us as we walked down the aisle, that made the day feel so wholesome and fun and we could not have done the ceremony without him. I could not recommended Jake enough!

Where do we even begin… planning an elopement-style ceremony meant we were very focused on making sure everything felt 100% true to us, and genuinely reflective of what we’re about as a couple. LISTEN UP! Jake was both our Celebrant and MC for our Wedding Day and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Honestly, without him the wedding wouldn’t have been the same and we genuinely mean that.. He ensured that all the emotions were felt and also had such great detail in his stories - because he listens! The fun never ended. We had that many guests tell us (both on the day and after) how outstanding he was and that it was the best decision we made! No one ever enjoys ceremonies, let’s be real they can get a bit boring - BUT EVERYONE LOVED IT! The second you meet him, it’s like you’ve known him for years. He tends to your needs and reads the room so well. He was warm, smiling, friendly, he gave us the confidence we needed giving us tips, advice and compliments through the day and checked up on us constantly, which was extremely comforting. Where do I start?! Jake was an absolutely pivotal part of our wedding. Our day simply wouldn’t have been the same without Jake. Jake was so incredible in the way he presented himself, but also how he made us feel. Our ceremony felt effortless, we quite literally felt like we were hanging with friends. He gave us gentle reminders and supportive encouragement, but not once did we feel stressed or overwhelmed throughout the whole experience. Callum and I loved the entire ceremony experience and it really let us be in the moment together and enjoy it! We honestly feel Jake is the reason for this. We kept Jake as our MC as well and the night flowed perfectly. Our friends were so involved and a crazy amount of guests kept coming up to us telling us how incredible Jake was. To know our guests felt the same way we did made us feel on top of the world! Jake was fun, energetic, supportive, encouraging and overall perfect for our day. We are so grateful that we made the decision to have Jake as our MC and celebrant, not just for us but for our guests as well. It is not often you find someone to be a part of your big day, and they fit so perfectly into the group of people, the proceedings of the day and the entire wedding experience for us as bride and groom. Man oh man, it’s so hard to express how amazing Jake is as both a person and a celebrant, but I will do my best! My husband and I formed instant trust from the moment we chatted with Jake, which I believe is so important. He was genuinely excited for our day and for us to become husband and wife! We cannot recommend Jake enough, he created the most incredible ceremony for us and made us feel so relaxed and at ease on our wedding day. When the lockdown was announced on the Tuesday of our wedding week, we both just felt numb. It was our second attempt to get married due to COVID and we couldn’t believe this was happening. Minutes after the lockdown was announced by the Government, the phone rang. it was Jake and he immediately made us feel calm and supported. When we said we still wanted to push on with the ceremony, we were met with excitement and enthusiasm. He was so happy we still wanted to get married and it was at that point we finally felt that our day would still go ahead despite the chaos happening around us. Jake adapted the day to our now intimate ceremony and made it so personal and special for us and all of our loved ones that tuned in via Zoom. We laughed, cried and sat down together at the end of the day so grateful to be husband and wife. Jake not only created an amazing service that was perfectly personalised to the both of us but also managed to engage our loved ones and makes all feel comfortable and entertained.
