Not only was Jake incredible on our big day, he was incredible to work with leading up to our wedding. He was always reachable, he was lovely to talk to and made us feel so valued during the entire process. He wanted our day to be perfect just as much as we did and it truly showed.
He always listened to what we wanted and boy he delivered. All our guests complimented him the entire night and the days following. Our guests even thought we had been friends for years because he took the time to get to know us and he was so intentional with everything he prepared.
God bless you Jake because you truly blessed us. Could not recommend him enough!!!

Jake proved to be more than just a celebrant – he was an unexpected highlight of our whole celebration. Uncertainty was my first response when my then-fiancé text me to share he had found and booked our celebrant without running it by me! However, a single click was all it took to understand the zero hesitation, with us very quickly asking Jake to also be our MC.
Jake's role in our journey wasn't confined to just the formalities; he was the calm in our storm of pre-wedding jitters. The art of making two spotlight-averse people look forward to being the centre of attention is no small task, but Jake made this seem effortless. On the day of our vows, his ability to weave intimacy, personal anecdotes, and humour into our ceremony made for a lasting memory, not just for us, but for every guest present.

Transitioning into the evening, Jake’s role evolved from celebrant to MC . He connected with our guests as if they had known him for years. His intuitive timing and engaging humour brought structure and joy to our celebration, effortlessly coordinating games and interactions that brought laughter and a light-hearted spirit to the room. All that was left for us to do was enjoy the day.

Jake’s exceptional presence has left a lasting impression, with guests continuing to speak of his role in our wedding today. To say he exceeded our expectations would be an understatement; he redefined them. For any couple getting married, especially those who may be nervous, Jake is not just a recommendation – he is a must!

I honestly cannot begin to express how amazing Jake was throughout our entire process of getting married. In terms of planning our day, Jake made every step so smooth and simple, and for two people who really struggle with making final decisions this was invaluable to us! From helping us organise the ceremony, to giving us advice on how to write our vows, to providing suggestions on how to improve the run sheet - Jake was there every step of the way and made everything so easy. On the actual day, we received non-stop compliments on how amazing Jake was. Our guests could not stop raving about how effortlessly funny he was, and how he really brought the energy to our ceremony and reception. Jake honestly went above and beyond for us, checking in constantly to see how we were feeling and to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and also offering to run to the 7/11 to get more batteries for our camera! You could tell he was there to ensure everything was about my husband and I and that we were at the centre of every decision he made, and we can’t thank him enough for that. We will recommend Jake as a celebrant/MC to anyone who will listen. Thanks so much for everything!!

It's so hard to express in words how wonderful it is to be Married by Jake! After years in the wedding industry, I still remember the first time I experienced one of Jake's ceremonies and knew that he was the only person I could imagine, guiding us beautifully to our I Do's.

To know Jake is to know how kind-hearted, joyous and thoughtful he is as a person. But to watch him in ceremony is to know those things as well, straight away, as his guests and new friends. He has a calm but electric energy and the beautifully intimate atmosphere he creates during your ceremony is unmatched. It's a complete joy to be a bride and groom standing beside him on the day and equally to be a guest.

This review could go on and on with praise, but put simply, there is no one like Jake, he is simply made to do this. Thank you sincerely Jake, it was my favourite part of the day.

We chose Jake because he came highly recommended to us from our wedding co-ordinator. We are so glad we went with him, he was able to create a ceremony space that felt warm, sincere and natural. We firmly believe the ceremony should be the highlight of your wedding, after all that’s why people are there! And we felt Jake understood that and was the reason our ceremony stood out to us.

He was able to see the groom prior and settle some nerves, and when I turned up to the chapel, he also met me and instantly I felt we were dealing with a seasonsed professional, yet someone who was still invested genuinely in our moment. Prior to meeting, our email exchanges were always prompt and easy. Jake gave us so many options to build our readings, vows, and optional prayers; which were important to us. I felt like I had someone who really could help me get specifically what I wanted into the ceremony.

My only regret is that we didn’t book him for our MC ! If you have the budget, I would strongly suggest you snag him for both! He’s a strong presence when it comes to public speaking but can also make the crowd laugh. I had multiple people tell me that they felt the high energy and excitement in the room which was really built by Jake and I’m sure that would have carried into the night.
