We picked Jake as he was the celebrant for my brothers wedding a few years ago, I knew from their ceremony and how easy he had made it for them, that I wanted him. So once Casey proposed, Jake was the first thing we booked for our wedding, I didn’t want to miss out!! He made our day so easy and so many guests from our wedding complimented us on our ceremony and how he made it easy for us and was so light-hearted. We can’t thank him enough for being so supportive and accomodating. We were quite nervous on the day (especially me and my dad LOL), yet he somehow calmed us so it felt seamless. We did a briefing before the ceremony and it just couldn’t have gone any better! Everything went so smoothly and Jake was very engaging with us and the guests too! Thank you again so much for everything; I cannot express how grateful Brendan and I both are that we had you with us on our wedding day. From the moment you walked into our room you were like a ray of sunshine in human form. You completely put us both at ease and guided us through the entire process (because we did need a wee bit of hand holding). From fixing Brendan’s tie and sorting his pocket square (with the tools you had on hand, thank you cheese knife) to preparing my bouquet for me so we were ready to roll. The ceremony itself was amazing and flowed beautifully; I loved how you incorporated all the personalisation about us into the ceremony and even though we chose not to write our own vows it was just magical. I remember laughing a lot and my cheeks hurting afterward from smiling so much; a big part of that was thanks to you. Everything about the elopement was perfect. Brendan and I are blessed that we had a dream team (you and Liz) with us on the day…you two have a great energy together. I definitely hope more couples are as lucky as us and get to share their special day with you.

Having been lucky enough to see Jake in action at a previous wedding, locking him in for our own special day was the easiest decision in all of our wedding planning. Despite having only exchanged a handful of emails with him, Jake delivered a wonderfully personal ceremony that sounded like he had known us both for years. Jake strikes the perfect balance between sentiment and humour. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, but there were plenty of laughs too. When it rained unexpectedly 5 minutes before our ceremony, Jake's calm and positive nature kept us completely relaxed at a moment that could have sent us into meltdown. We've totally lost track of how many lovely compliments we have received on our 'amazing celebrant' from our guests.
