From the moment he picked up the phone he was professional, caring, and genuinely invested in the way we wanted our ceremony to work. He helped us through an unknown period during COVID, and was very flexible when it came to changing our venue. On the day, he was a calming presence, and kept our guests and ourselves entertained both before, and throughout the ceremony. Finding the perfect person to marry us and make our ceremony everything we dreamed of was our biggest priority, and from the moment we met Jake we knew he was our man! He can truly read any situation and be exactly what a person needs in that moment. From checking in with my husband, being a calming influence and getting him pumped for the upcoming ceremony; to helping and explaining what was needed of a very nervous best man; to opening the limo door and screaming with me that I was “finally getting married”. His genuine excitement and joy for us made it even more special and truly showed how much he cares. Our ceremony was so personal, full of laughs and raw emotion that we will never forget. Jake didn’t just marry us, but made our ceremony the most unique, magical, heartfelt, favourite and memorable part of our day. Jake made our Wedding ceremony everything we could have dreamed of and so much more! My wife and I recently got married by Jake. It was a short notice wedding, which Jake squeezed into his busy schedule and made every effort to ensure all the paper work was ready for the event. He carried us every step of the way and provided great advice for the running of the ceremony. On the day, Jake was adaptable and knew exactly how to set the scene when we resorted to our back up ceremony location due to poor weather. He took control and made everything happen with minimal notice. He has a natural ability to hold the audience and keep the mood light and funny. It was a beautiful ceremony that the guests could not stop talking about days after the wedding. We loved every bit of our wedding, which was only made possible by Jake. We can't recommend Jake highly enough as he is a true professional.
