JAAAAKKKKKKEEEEEEE!! How is it even possible for a human to be as awesome as you? (And yes, I am screaming your name in an energiser bunny enthusiastic excited way - not to be mistaken for angry capitals).
You know in the Wizard of Oz, at the end of the movie when Dorothy finally gets around to the scarecrow and says that she’s going to miss him the most of all? In a way, this is how I feel about you and the important part you played in making our day everything that we dreamed of! For me personally, having a Wedding SHOULD BE about the ceremony, it's about announcing to the world the commitment that two people are making to each other. And for me, that’s why having the perfect celebrant was so important. I really wanted our celebrant to be someone who had that same opinion first and foremost, would make our ceremony fun and lighthearted, but emotional all at once. I seriously don’t know how you do it, but you did all of the above, and more. You absolutely nailed it!
To begin, from the minute we enquired with you we felt so special, we were sold! It was like the KFC ad, ’take my money!’ haha. You made the entire process incredibly simple. Your communication is clear and includes everything we had to do and by when. Thank you for that!
Fast forward to the day…
The wonderful demeanour that you had when you greeted my parents and I in my room prior to the ceremony, brought me so much joy and excitement. And whenever we glanced at you during the ceremony you had the biggest smile on your face and it definitely projected the most incredible energy into the room.
The ceremony that you put together for us was perfect and you delivered it seamlessly. We really loved that you don’t recommend a rehearsal, although a little nervous to begin with, but it was so exciting hearing the ceremony for the first time on the day. We can’t wait to watch the ceremony from the guests perspective when we receive the footage.
In short Jake, you are THE BOMB.
Being Married By Jake is a blessing... Jake may say that he feels blessed marrying you, but it is the couples that he marries that are truly blessed. His ability to share stories that transport people to that point in time is one of a kind, and the energy that he projects through the room is exhilarating. We would pick Jake a thousand times over to officiate our wedding and no words could possibly sum up how thankful we are for the part Jake played in our special day ♡
